The Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) has launched the HONHAAR Undergraduate Scholarship Program 2025 for talented students. This fully funded scholarship covers 100% tuition fees, enabling deserving candidates to pursue higher education without financial burden.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements to qualify for the HONHAAR Scholarship:

1. No Age Limit – Candidates of all ages can apply.

2. Punjab Domicile Required – Applicants must hold a valid domicile of Punjab.

3. Open to All Genders – There is no gender-based restriction.

4. Family Income Limit –

   1. Public Sector HEIs: Less than Rs. 350,000 per month.

   2. Federal/Private HEIs: Less than Rs. 500,000 per month.

   3. An affidavit on E-Stamp is mandatory (Download Affidavit).

5. Educational Enrollment – Must be in the 1st semester/year of a selected discipline in 2025 at approved universities/colleges (Check Disciplines | Check Institutions).

6. Special Case – Students already enrolled in 1st year of MBBS or BDS in 2025 are also eligible.

7. Merit-Based Selection – Scholarships will be awarded strictly on academic performance.

Public Sector Universities / Colleges

1. Sciences: ≥ 70% in Intermediate/FSc.

2. Arts & Social Sciences: ≥ 65%

MBBS / BDS (Public Sector Medical & Dental Colleges)

1. ≥ 80% in Intermediate/FSc.

Federal & Private Universities

1. Sciences: ≥ 70%

2. Arts & Social Sciences: ≥ 65%

HED Colleges

1. Sciences: ≥ 65%

2. Arts: ≥ 60%

Merit Calculation Formula:

1. Matric: 30% weightage

2. Intermediate: 70% weightage
